- The Vessel is designed as a single screw diesel engine driven single deck double hull lake fitted General Cargo Ship suitable for operating in Great Lakes and for unrestricted worldwide service.
- The Vessel has designed considering possible future retrofit / conversion into a dual fuel (Methanol) Vessel. Space shall be reserved for the placement of fuel storage tanks on main deck, aft of superstructure.
- The cargo hold area is divided by corrugated transverse watertight bulkheads into six (6) cargo holds. The Vessel shall have No. 4 cargo hold as ballastable hold.
- The Vessel is designed and equipped so as to be capable of carrying the following cargoes:
- Dry bulk cargoes such as grain, metal concentrates, iron ore, scrap metal, coal, bauxite, salt and sugar.
- Steel products including hot coils and pipes.
- General cargoes such as packaged freight and palletized cargoes bagged cement and bagged cargoes.
- Long cargoes such as packaged lumber.
- Deck cargoes above hatch cover.
- Dangerous cargoes shall be carried in ventilated cargo holds 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 as permitted by SOLAS regulation chapter II-2/19 & VII/Part-A.
